Beijing Capital Airport

 

Location: 
      - Located 27km (18m) northeast to the city centre. It is half an hour's drive through the express way.

Shuttle Bus Transfers (lines, lines)
     - From Xidan Ticketing Center: for every half an hour between 5:30am to 19:00pm
     - From Art Gallery, International Hotel and Zhongguancun: for  every hour.
     - From airport to the downtown: available until the last arrival flight.
     - Fare: CNY16 / $2 US

Airport facilities
     - Banks, ATMs, IDD Call telephone booths (mostly for IC card).
      - 24 hour medical center, post office, lot of shops (including duty free), restaurants, etc.

Customs
    - Duty Free Allowance: 400 cigarettes (600 cigarettes for stays over 6 months); 2 liters of alcoholic beverages; reasonable amount of perfume for personal use. 
      - Prohibited items: Arms, ammunition, radio transmitters or receivers, exposed but undeveloped film.
      - Baggage declaration forms must be completed upon arrival noting all valuables (cameras, watches, jewellery, etc).   
      - Copy presented to customs upon leaving for checking.

There are two ways to reach NAOC from the airport:
    - Take a taxi from the airport directly to NAOC, which takes about 70 RMB.
     - Take the shuttle bus transfers to arrive at Anzhenli stop (16 RMB), then take a taxi to reach NAOC (about 15 RMB).

How to reach the Hotel, clik for the road map

Our workshop will be held inside the beautiful Beijing Botanical Garden, at the foot of Fragrant Hill, about 30 km northwest of Beijing city. The accommodation hotel is Sleeping Buddha Temple Hotel. You may spend about 100 RMB to take a taxi to get there within 1 hours from Beijing Capital Airport.  

The Chinese characters below may be shown to the taxi driver, which means: Please take me to  Sleeping Buddha Temple Hotel inside Beijing Botanical Garden, at the foot of Fragrant Hill.
